Endurance load on ITRA's km-effort scale — not steepness or technical terrain.
How we measure
km-effort = distance + climb/100, ITRA's published scale: every 100 m of climb counts like ~1 km of distance. Six levels, Easy → Brutal, from the hardest distance of the event. The climb figure (m/km) shows how vertical the course is.Drive

Our take
The catch · Our read
59 km ultra in remote terrain with unpublished D+/cutoffs; Oix parking and late-Oct damp add friction
Who it's for · Our guess
ultra and marathon trail runners wanting a scenic NE-Catalonia mountain day; 9/24 for others
Also nice · Our read
deep-forest volcanic Garrotxa terrain, well-run by CE Olot, charity ethos
In a word · Our read
an Alta Garrotxa ultra — greener and damper than the Pyrenean high routes, long on the 59
