Endurance load on ITRA's km-effort scale — not steepness or technical terrain.
How we measure
km-effort = distance + climb/100, ITRA's published scale: every 100 m of climb counts like ~1 km of distance. Six levels, Easy → Brutal, from the hardest distance of the event. The climb figure (m/km) shows how vertical the course is.Drive

Our take
The catch · Our read
no D+ published so effort unclear; theme-forward races can be light on hard logistics info (cutoffs, aid all missing)
Who it's for · Our read
casual-to-intermediate runners who like atmosphere and coast; families (walk option). Not for vert-hunters
Also nice · Our read
castle start line + sea views + a theme most trail races don't have
In a word · Our read
a coastal heritage run — closer to a scenic 18 km than a mountain grind
